Terms and Conditions
1. Interpretation & Definitions
In these Terms, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to Autotech Tuning UK.
“Customer”, “you”, or “your” refers to anyone purchasing Goods or Services from us.
“Goods” means any physical products we sell (e.g. tuning tools, performance parts, exhaust systems, clutches).
“Services” means any ECU remapping, tuning, diagnostics, installations, dyno runs, or other work carried out by us.
“Order” means a request by you to purchase Goods or Services.
“Charges” refers to the price payable for Goods or Services, including VAT, labour, delivery, or any additional applicable costs.
2. Applicability
These Terms apply to all Orders placed through our website, in person, over the phone, or via email. They override any other terms unless agreed in writing.
By placing an Order, you confirm you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
3. Orders, Quotations & Acceptance
All quotations are estimates and may change until accepted in writing.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any Order for reasons including pricing errors, stock availability, or suspected misuse.
Your Order becomes binding once accepted or once we begin work or dispatch the Goods.
You are responsible for ensuring all details, including vehicle information, are accurate.
4. Price, Payment & Invoicing
All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
Additional charges (such as extra labour, specialist parts, delivery, or import duties) may apply and will be confirmed before proceeding.
Payment is required before dispatch of Goods and on completion (or as otherwise agreed) for Services.
Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
All payments must be made in cleared funds, and you are responsible for any associated bank or transfer fees.
5. Delivery, Installation & Risk
For Goods:
• Delivery times are estimates only; we are not liable for delays caused by couriers or third parties.
• Risk passes to you once Goods are delivered or collected.
• Title to Goods remains with us until full payment is received.
For Services:
• Your vehicle remains your responsibility except where damage is caused by our negligence.
• You must ensure your vehicle is insured, roadworthy, and safe for work to be carried out.
6. Warranty & Liability
Goods are covered only by the manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise stated.
Services are provided with reasonable skill and care.
We accept no liability for:
• Loss of earnings or business interruption
• Damage caused by misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, third-party interference, or inaccurate information provided by you
• Failures resulting from pre-existing faults in the vehicle
Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the relevant Goods or Services.
Nothing limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
7. Customer Responsibilities
You confirm you are the legal owner or authorised user of the vehicle.
You must disclose all relevant information and ensure a safe working environment.
We are not responsible for:
• Issues caused by customer-supplied parts
• MOT failures resulting from modifications
• The legality of vehicle modifications (this remains your responsibility)
Any issues relating to Goods or Services must be reported in writing within 7 days of delivery or collection.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights—including tuning files, software, designs, and branding—remain the property of Autotech Tuning UK or our licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use any supplied tuning files or software solely for the specific vehicle for which it was purchased.
9. Website Use
Use of autotechtuning.co.uk is governed by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy.
We may correct errors, update information, or cancel orders where necessary.
You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, introduce viruses, or copy content without permission.
10. Cancellation, Returns & Refunds
Consumers have rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
For Goods:
• If you cancel before dispatch, we will refund your payment minus outbound shipping costs already incurred.
• Faulty Goods will be repaired, replaced, or refunded in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty.
• Returns of non-faulty Goods are at our discretion and must be unused and in original packaging (a restocking fee may apply).
For Services:
• Once work has started, cancellations may not be possible.
• You will be charged for work completed and any parts already supplied.
11. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our control, including but not limited to: extreme weather, courier delays, strikes, parts shortages, or supplier issues.
We may extend deadlines or cancel the Order with an appropriate refund where necessary.
12. Data Protection
We process your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.
By placing an Order or using our website, you consent to us using your data for order fulfilment, communication, account management, and marketing (if you have opted in).
13. Disputes & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
Any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith discussion or mediation before legal action.
14. General
If any part of these Terms is deemed invalid, the rest will continue in full effect.
Any variation or waiver must be in writing and signed by a Company director.
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and order confirmations, form the entire agreement between you and Autotech Tuning UK.
